The computer is an electronic machine made for
calculations. The history of computer
starts since the need for counting came into existence. Many scientists
invented different devices for calculations.

ABACUS :- The first calculating device was built in China around 600 B.C. This was called
Abacus.

NAPIER`S BONES:-
John Napier invented another calculating
device in 1674. It was called Napier Bones.

PASCAL`S CALCULATOR :- The first mechanical adding machine was
invented by Blaise Pascal in 1642.
